Artist statement

The central theme of my artistic practice is the exploration of memory, both personal and collective. I approach this subject through two distinct yet complementary directions.

On one hand, in my documentary projects, I capture reality, aiming to objectively record the “memory of place” and the stories of people connected to it. On the other hand, in my fine art photography, I turn to the subjective experience of the past. Here, I allow myself to construct images, employ metaphors, and explore the inner landscape of memories, processing my personal experience and its reflection in the present.
